The Washington Field Office sends agents and support professionals into schools across Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia to talk about the history and mission of the FBI, to reinforce basic academic principles, and to help students practice responsible behavior and stay away from drugs and violence. Ethics, etiquette, and physical fitness are also highlighted in these programs.Adopt-a-School encompasses one or more of the following programs:

Mentors (for students in fourth grade)
